SANTA CAME!!!

Christmas morning is the ONLY day I'm OK with my kids waking me up at 6am. It was so cute to see them so excited. They each riped in to the gifts as soon as we gave them the OK hehehe.

This year has been so nice! Me and Mick were able to get each other something too (witch is a first in about 4 years). I got Mick this Wii game he has been itching to get and he has been playing it all day hehehe. Mick got me a new digital camera witch I LOVE!!! Its even PINK!!!! I'm so excited so enjoy these pics cause they are the last pics from the old camera. He also got me the Twilight movie sound track which I have been listening too all day.
I hope everyone has had a wonderful day and here is too a new and eventful New Year.

Christmas Eve

This Christmas has been so fun! Christmas eve my sister Nicole and my nephew Jesse came over to have some holiday cheer. The kids had such a blast together. Not to mention we used our web came with my mom so Mom and Mike could see the kids open their gift from them. It was really neat I love having the web cam. After that we headed out to see some Christmas lights.

Then we came home made our cookies for Santa and had some hot coco right before bed. It was such a great day.

Justin and Sara

So alot of you have heard about Justin's "Friend" Sara from school. Well this year Justin wanted to get her a present so he asked her mom (Lisa their class mom as well) what she liked, and told her not to tell Sara he was getting her something. Well it was SO CUTE on the last day of school he gave her her gift. She was so excited and I don't think I have ever seen Justin's face so red! So yesterday (Christmas eve) Lisa and Sara made a surprise trip to our house and Sara had a small gift for Justin. I FINALLY remembered to take a pic of them together. So enjoy this cute pic of Justin and Sara (their little crush is so cute)

The house that Justin built

Justin's teacher is doing some really FUN things with the kids this last week of school, before winter break. One fun thing they got to do was make Gram cracker house's. I think Justin did a great job! He was so excited about his house and was even nice enough to share his creation with his sister. Yes they ate EVERY bit of it!

I just love Christmas time :)

Reading is family fun

I love to read! Witch is a new thing for me. I grew up having a very hard time with reading and spelling due to dyslexia and really hated it as a kid. Now that I'm older and doing ti for fun not because I have too reading has become a very big hobby for me. I have been reading so much (on the computer and books them self's) that I have never really seen how much I have improved.

What got me to see how well I can read and enjoy getting all wrapped up in to a story was this passed week. I decided to re-read the Twilight saga all 4 books one right after the other. I'm a HUGE Twilight fan (most of you know that and think I'm crazy too :P) so it was really neat to go see the movie (3x's yes 3x's). The movie got me all excited and rekindled my love for the story's. I sat down with Twilight last week and have just finished last night with the last and 4th book of the series. It only took me a week to read all 4 of those books. I was taking my time too not trying to rush and just really enjoying the story.

The best part was the kids where watching me read book after book and have been obsessed with reading themselves. Justin can read now so him and Skyla would sit and he will read them story's. He has even taking up the chore of reading our nightly bed time story to all of us. Skyla love to sit and look at books and make up her own stories about what she see in the pics. Mick has even taken up to more reading (guess what he is reading now YEP Twilight). Its so nice to see my family sitting and enjoying some good books. Its really nice to see the kids enjoying it, I really hope the love of reading will stay with them.
O on another Twilight note. If you have not read the half of "Midnight Sun" (twilight from Edwards point of view) that is on Stephenie Meyer's web site you need too. It got leaked out wile she was still writing it so she has decided to not finish it (I'm hoping she changes her mind) but what is there is GREAT! It really give you a other side to look at and you feel like to know more about Edward and Bella. Its really good.

Christmas Time!

Merry Christmas from The Rogers! All the Thanksgiving leftovers are all gone, and out come the lights and ornaments and our trip to the tree lot. This year is so much fun with the kids. Skyla is really old enough to get everything about Christmas and how special it is and Justin (after dodging a few miss hap's) Still believes in Santa (I think he might figure it out next year though).

OK so I have to tell you about Justin and his Santa questions. All kids find out Santa isn't real I know this but, Justin is only 6 and I think he should still believe in him. Once a kid stops believing in Santa they seem so grown up and some of the magic of Christmas is gone, and I'm not ready for that. Well I guess some older kids at school told Justin Santa wasn't real and of course he came home and asked me. I told him Yes Santa is real but that was not a good enough answer.

Mick and I love to spoil the kids but we don't go over broad. There are plenty of times that we have to tell the kids we cant do something because we just don't have the money. We also tell them this when we just don't want to do something hehehe. Anyways Justin understands it and excepts it. He knows that we do fun stuff and just because we cant buy him everything he wants that isn't what is important anyways. I really am grateful for this time I hope it will make my kids humble adults. Well Justin came home and asked if it was Santa or us who get the Christmas gifts. Then told me about the kids at school. So I came up with a idea (witch was easy to explain since he is learning about money at school too). I asked him what he wanted for Christmas and he gave me his list. SO I got the idea to take him online and look up everything he wanted and show him how much it would cost us to buy everything. Everything he wanted came to about $830. He was shocked, he couldn't believe that everything he wanted cost so much money. Then we add up somethings Skyla has asked for (witch is everything she sees on TV and a real horse to top it off, but I left out the horse). Then we add up the 2 sums ( not bad I got him to practice some math wile I tried to convince him Santa was real hehehe) Anyways Total for both kids and everything they would like came to almost $1,800 Justin couldn't believe it. Then I showed him how much Mick makes from work and all our bill's. When we were done he told me that he knew Santa was real cause there was NO WAY Mick and I could by them all the things they get for Christmas from Santa. In his own words "That is so much money and Mom any body who spends that much for toys is crazy. I would rather get no toys for Christmas and take the money and go to Disneyland. Is that enough for Disneyland can we add that up now?"

When Justin came home from school the next day he told me that he saw the same kids and told them that they were wrong. There was a Santa cause Moms and Dads cant afford to buy all the things kids want. Then he told them that they are just mad cause since he still believes in Santa and Santa still come to our house then he told them to humble them selves hahahaha. That's my son! Lisa, Justin's class mom saw and heard this and she said that Justin said it with so much confidence and that the older kids didn't know what to say that they just agreed with him and left it alone.

I'm so glad he still believes in Santa and was humbled a bit by all of this that he cut his wish list down and even came up with some really cute things to ask for. So now instead of all toys here is Justin's new Christmas list.

1) Spike the ultra Dinosaur
2) Lots of house's decorated Christmas eve (we go out on Christmas eve and drive around to see the lights then come home and have hot coco)
3) Enough money to go to Disneyland in Feb or March as a family
4) For all his friends and family to have a good Christmas
5) For Mick to not have to work so hard all the time

Justin is such a sweet boy and its so neat to see him grow everyday. I'm really going to miss these innocent times of childhood, but I'm so proud of the wonderful Man Justin is going to grow up to be. I'm also very grateful that he isn't a sneaky kid and hasn't figured out that we start Christmas shopping for them in like Sept and all their gifts are hidden in the house.

I had to post both pics of the kids by the tree. This one Justin was being silly by not looking at me but, you can really see how Big Skyla is getting in this one. She is so tall its crazy! Mick and I both think she is going to pass Justin in height some time soon. Poor Justin is so Skinny like Mick that Skyla now weighs the same as him. Another thing that sucks is all our friends that have Girls older then Skyla that gave us their hand-me-downs cant anymore. Sky is ether in the same size or bigger then those girls and one the the girls is 7 years old!
I Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

I LOVE "Twilight"

As Most of you know I'm a HUGE "Twilight" fan. I LOVE the books and was way excited for the movie. So I finally got to go see the movie on Wednesday the day before thanksgiving with a bunch of my fun girly friends. We had such a blast. The movie totally did not disappoint, it was GREAT! It was so great that Mick took me to see it again Friday night and I might even go back this fri to see it a 3rd time.
Also if you have not heard the sound track you have to. There is so much great music on there I just love.
Cant wait for "New Moon" to come out. I'm so excited they are doing it I hope they do all 4 books in to movies.

O and YES Edward is really HOT all the vampires are really good looking, maybe that's why I like the movie so much? :P

"NO NAP"

I'm a really Lucky Mom. I have 2 wonderful kids, they are a true blessing each and everyday. I'm also a Lucky Mom cause at 6 and 3 years old I can still get them to take naps :)

Lately though Skyla has been fighting taking a nap, so the passed few day I have let her stay up and needles to say by 5pm we are fighting with her to stay up till bedtime at 8pm. Even if this Girl gets a 10min cat nap at 5pm its all over she can be up till midnight with no problem.

Today she had Joy school and was up and out most of the day. When we finally got home at 1:30pm she asked right away if she had to take a nap. I told her No she could stay up. About 15 min later I realised it was really quiet in the living room so I went and checked on her and this is what I found........

I couldn't help but laugh and get the camera to take a pic. At least she cant get made at me. I didn't make her take a nap she did that all on her own :)
On a side note: MAN she has some long legs!

Sick

Apparently the stomach flu is going around and we got it! Me and Justin both got it Tue and Wed then poor Skyla got it last night. Now we are just trying to stay away from Mick so he doesn't get it. These are times I wish we had 2 bathrooms.

Fall time in New England

My Mom took pics of her big tree in her back yard for me. That way we could see it change colors during the Fall (Thanks Mom they are great). I got to see some color when I went out there in Sept to visit but MAN are the colors pretty when it all goes!

Here is the what it looked like when i was out there. Here is what it looks like when its all changed! Its so pretty.

On a side note isn't her back yard HUGE! I love it at my Moms house :)

Tiger Cub

Justin had his Cub Scout meeting not that long ago and was so excited. He has done A LOT for scouts and really Love's being involved with it. He is a Tiger cub and just Loves it.
At this meeting he got presented with his Bobcat badge, Tiger totem and beads for each Den activity, family activity and elective he has completed. As you can see from the pics he has done a lot he got 9 beads.

Justin and his friend AJ have also completed the most electives in their pack so they got marked with the scout colors for there good achievements.

I'm so proud of my little scout :)

Getting ready for winter

For my Birthday gift my Mom and Mike got me a Knifty Knitter loom's. They are so much fun! The first thing I made was myself a scarf and I love it. Its great for the cold early mornings when we have to take Mick to work during the week (at 6:30am its pretty cold). After I finished mine I really wanted to make some for the kids. I took both of them to the craft store and let them pick out what type of yarn they liked. For Skyla's I found these really cute charms you can add on to your knitted projects. I think I did pretty good, but most of all the kids LOVE their things (which is why I made them in the first place) Justin picked this stretchy black yarn which is good cause it doesn't feel tight around his ears which has been a problem with store bought hats (poor kids has his dads ears hehe) But its really warm and hold heat in like crazy.

Sky picked out this super thick fluffy Pink (of course would it be any other color) yarn. Her hat and scarf are super thick but really soft. Look close at her hat and you can see her puppy and dog bones on it.

Trick or Treat

This Halloween was so much fun! Here are the kids with full make up, I love how it came out :) We got Justin fake facial hair and he love it. I also added some of my dark eyeshadow around his eyes to give him a more dirty mean pirate look.

Skyla was fun I just really over did her make up Mick was cracking up at her 80's style dark blush.

Trick or treating was so fun this year. The kids got to go up to the doors by them selves this year and Skyla was not scared of anything. Justin was a little more hesitant at some of the really decked out house's but Sky would just remind him that there was candy waiting.
We had a blast even walking the half mile back to our car in the poring rain was fun. Yes it rained on Halloween. We got a good 2 hour block from about 6-8 with no rain (just enough to trick or treat) then it started poring. It rained all day Saturday too.
Now time to plan Thanksgiving.

Happy Halloween

We Carved Pumpkins on Wednesday night. It was really fun (I love the holidays) the kids did most of the work getting all the guts out witch was really nice I think we are going to start doing that from now on. They insisted on me cooking the seeds for them so I did. Justin LOVES pumpkin seeds (who knew). Justin and Skyla both wanted to draw their own faces for their pumpkins. Skyla of course got a little help but we let Justin completely do his on his own. I help skyla carve her's wile Mick watched Justin do his. Yep he is getting older, Justin got to carve his whole pumpkin all by himself this year. And I think he did a awesome job :)

Some updates:
If you cant tell from this pic Skyla is getting HUGE!! We just weighed and measured her and Justin. Skyla is now only 4 inches shorter then Justin and they both weight the same (40lbs). Poor Justin I think his "little sister" is going to pass him up soon. AT least when we go to Disneyland in March Sky will be tall enough to go on all the coasters this time.
Justin is doing really well in school. Once again Math is his strong subject and he loves it. He is also reading like crazy and really learning to love writing his own stories. His Top front teeth are getting loose ( I cant wait for pics of that) His bottom front adult teeth have come in and mine and Micks fears are coming true. Justin has a small jaw like Mick does and his teeth wont have enough room. The dentist said don't worry about it till he is about 10-11. Then he will more then likely need braces.
Skyla is doing great, she is loving Joy school and learning so much. She wants to do homework like Justin so we got her a spelling book. We write words down for her and she traces them, I think in the next few months she will be able to write her name by herself. She LOVES dance class and has made a new friend too. She is all ready getting her Christmas list going. Every toy commercial she sees you ether hear a yes or no when its done or a "O mommy I'm asking for that one". Its really funny cause she wants everything and she also has some expensive taste.
Have a Happy Halloween and a safe Trick or Treating night.

I love my Husband

I have not posted about Mick in a wile and I really should. The past few weeks it seems like my eyes have been opened a little more a few times to how wonderful my Husband is.

I am taking a dance class on top of all the other fun things I do (card class and book club once a month plus all my Enrichment responsibility's, things for the kids dance, scouts, friends). Then all my hobbies, reading, crafts, knitting (my new one), Blogging, baking the list goes on.

Mick NEVER complains about anything I do or want to do. I have even had weeks were I am not home from 7-10pm every night. I even got to go all the way to Connecticut to see my Mom for a week wile he stayed home with the kids.

Mick always puts me and the kids first. We have talked that when Skyla starts kindergarten, if I'm not babysitting then i will more then likely go get a part time job wile the kids are at school (I have not worked in almost 8 years and I have no idea where to start hehehe). Well yesterday we got a sign up sheet for the Halloween party for Justin's class, I told Justin we would make cookies for him to take. He was ok with that but said he wished I could work in his class that day too, but he knows I have to stay home with Skyla (siblings cant be in class). Mick then told me that he wanted me to be the class mom for Skyla kindergarten class, and if I could also do Justin's (do half days in both classes no biggie). He then told me how he knows how much I want to be a part of there schooling and he really wants me to do it wile I can.
Mick has only one hobby and that's football. I joke and say during the Football season I'm the 16 week widow. He is a HUGE Buffalo Bills fan and he watches every game. He know everything about all the players and the kids have even learned they don't get to watch TV on Sunday and Monday nights :).

I love my hubby and how loving and caring he is. He always tells me how beautiful I am (even though I don't think so). He is always pulling piratical jokes on me and knows how to laugh at himself. He will do things he is uncomfortable with just to please me.
Mick does so much for our family and all he ever ask's in return is that I love him forever (I think i can handle that :P). I am really lucky to have Mick for a husband, and I am so grateful for everything he does. I love you sweetie :)

Gas is cheap?

No really it is! On Stephanie's blog I saw that she said she went to Costco and was shocked that gas was only $2.79. Well when I heard that I decided to get gas there this week cause the 76 next door to me was asking $3.36.
Once I got to Costco yesterday I realized I forgot my Costco card so I couldn't get gas. I decided to go back this morning and made sure I remembered it. As we left this morning I spotted the sign for 76 and gas was down to $3.19 (not bad I haven't seen it that cheap in a long time).
We got to Costco and I just about passed out from shock. Gas was down to $2.55!!! It dropped AGAIN by a huge $0.24, and was now a $0.64 cent difference then where we normally go.
Now if only everything else would go down :) (yeah I know that's asking to much hehehe)

Fall........is that you?

We have had 75+ degree weather forever it seems. Yes its Oct 28th and this is our first cold day. I think Fall might completely skip Ca this year. Good news is we are supposed to get some rain FINALLY!! Bad news its supposed to come on the one night that Everyone is going to be outside. LOL go figure 75+ weather all month then rain Halloween night. Here's hoping the weatherman is wrong. After that it can rain :)

I have gotten to know a few of the girls in the class and me and one of the Moms from Skyla's dance class have decided to join together. I'm so excited its been forever since I danced and I really do love it. I might even take the Hula one they have too :)

Music

I got tired of my play list on my blog so I decided to change some songs. I think i went a little crazy hehehe. I had so much fun finding new and old songs I love, think are funny and some that just make me sing out loud. So have fun listening to my new play list

Hula Baby

Sky has a big dance show coming up this Sat. She is so excited cause so far at all the shows she has only been doing 1 dance (twinkle little star its a tap dance). This one is such a huge thing that she will be doing 3 dances. Twinkle little start is one, then she will be doing her new dance that we just got the costume for Hula Baby (I'm sure Auntie Kami loves this one), then the whole dance studio does a big final number together called "All for one".

I love this costume it so cute!!! Mick pulled the total Dad card tonight when I tried it on her LOL. Fist it was "is she going to wear anything under her skirt cause you can see her panties?" Me: Yes hun she will have on a pair of shorts under. Then I got "is that the top?" Yep "but its just a fake coconut bra" Yeah I know "that's all she is wearing.......I don't know if I like that" Mick its a hula dance she looks like a hula girl and its cute. She is still little it doesn't matter at least she is covered. "Yeah I guess at least its a short song" :P such a Dad!

Skyla Girl

As many of you know Sky has been having some skin problem's. Mainly around her mouth and on her right arm in the crease where she bends her elbow. We have notices around her mouth gets really bad when she eats anything with tomato's in it, or tomato's them selves. Well now it has been happening alot more and now her arm is doing it. We took her to the Doc and they assumed it was some type of food allergy.

Good news from the Doc she has NO food allergies! She is also not allergic to Dog's, cat's, mold, perfumes or cockroaches (ewwww had no idea there was a test for that). BUT she does have eczema, Tomato's seem to really irritate the eczema around her mouth and chin so we should keep her away from that as much as we can. Besides that she is fine. They did give us a endless prescription for this medicated hydrocortisone cream we can us on her and said to just give her benadril at night if it gets really bad. I'm just grateful its not something more.

Now we just have to watch it and make sure we put the cream on it (mainly her face) when it acts up cause it can scare. Raising kids what an adventure.

Pirates!

Look out Pirates have taken over The Rogers house!!!!! Be on the look out for Captain Drama Queen Skyla and the feared Pirate Smart Mouth Justin.
They are considered armed and dangerous!

We went out today with the intent to get the kids costumes. Justin wanted to be a skeleton and Skyla wanted to be Minnie mouse. We could not find ether costume in their sizes.
Justin then picked out a Pirate costume and Skyla had picked out a witch one, but as we were walking to the dressing rooms to try them on we found the Girl Pirate costume that matched Justin's so we grabbed it. We only tried on the costume at the store (not the accessory's) and thought they looked cute. So we got them and the Kids LOVE them. We tried everything on once we got home and me and Mick couldn't stop laughing at how cute they look matching. Both of them went crazy over their costumes and are all in to Pirates right now.
I'm so happy they let us get them matching costumes I wanted one year of them being something together. I just love the holidays there so much fun with the kids.

Holiday time is here!

Aaawwww my favorite time of year is here at last. Oct-Dec are my favorite months. The world just seem different and everyone has a happier step to their stride.
Well with Christmas right around the corner now is the time to plan for me. My Mom found this great web site http://www.northpole.com/ it has so much to do. There are things for the kids, they can write a e-mail to Santa and he even wrights back. There is also Mrs Claus's kitchen and that thing is LOADED with recipes.
One of the things I got off for the kids are "Good Deeds Calender" I got them for Oct, Nov and Dec up till Christmas. It has a list of things the kids should do everyday (it all things they usually do everyday anyways). I changed a few things to fit better with my kids (for Justin instead of chores I put homework), but its a fun way for them to see how good they are being. I told Justin and Sky that Santa e-mailed it to me, cause with all the kids in the world he needs some help keeping track of who is really nice, and who isn't doing what they should. SO every night we mark off their boxes and if there is something they forgot boy do they run and do it LOL. Also I have been using it to get Skyla to do more too I just tell her if she doesn't do it I cant mark it off and Santa wont being her any presents. Let me tell you that works like a charm.
O and Im going shopping on Black Friday (again) so if any one wants to come let me know :) 5am is never to early to shop.
Happy Holidays!

My trip to my Mom's

I have had the best week ever! I got to go to CT by my self to visit my Mom (and Mike :) ). It was so much fun we had the best time. Mike and My Mom are awesome they wouldn't let me pay for anything (thanks again guys) I even got yelled at when I would try to pay for my own food. It was really nice being spoiled for a week. OK so here are TONS of pics from my trip. This is a huge post so be ready........

Day 1 (Monday) SO I took Bart from Castro Valley to the SFO airport. It was nice and really easy. The only thing that sucked was I had to catch Bart at 4am, but you would be shocked at how many people are on Bart that early. I got to my Mom's at 5:30pm est and we headed right out to go eat at the Olive Garden. My flights were really good, long but good. It was nice to just finally get there.
I don't look to bad for being up at 3:30am
Day 2 (Tuesday) The Big E!
Every year New England has this huge fair, its like a state fair but for all of New England. Its called the Big E and let me tell you this was the coolest Fair I have ever been too!
There are LOTS of animal things going on. One of my faves was seeing the Clydesdale Horses. The are just so huge! We also got to watch Ox pulling (that was really neat).

There are so many exhibits and booths to see. Here is a huge pumpkin someone had grown then painted on.
Also one of the big things is the State houses. There are 6 and each one is a replica of what that states State house looks like. Then inside is a huge market of vender's from that state and stands of food of things that state is know for. This one is Road Island
Here is Massachusetts. I really liked the Lion and Unicorn on the top corners.
Maine, They had the best chocolate in this one and of course fresh Wild Maine blueberry's.
Vermont
Connecticut (wwwooohhoooo CT rocks hehehe)
Connecticut I didn't know is known for Lego's and Peeze. I had no idea those 2 thing came from there. Here is Mom with a Lego Indiana Jones. Pretty cool :)

New Hampshire.......This one was my fave I just love how it looks.

Ok so as most Fairs go there is TONS of food, But the big E is known for a few things. One is there bake potatos, another that I tried and will have to make at home was fried dough. Yep you take Pizza dough and fry it, we had sauce put on ours, other I saw got strawberry's on them. Anyways it was really good. One of the best things I had that the Big E is famous for was the Cream Puff..........
Do I really need to say how yummy these were :)
Day 3 (Wednesday) BOSTON!!!!!!
I got to go to Boston and I love it there. The east coast never seems to amaze me. There is so much to see and do out there.
OK so to get to Boston we drove in to Mass then took the T train in to the city. We had to go through the Mass Turnpike witch was crazy. Its a supper LONG freeway, each exit is about 10 miles from each other.
Once in Boston we had the best time. Here is Faneuil Hall and a statue of Samuel Adams.

This is Quincy Market its part of Faneuil Hall witch is one of the first and oldest shopping centers. It was built when the settlers first came over and was also used for meetings and stuff (lots of history). In side both building is a world-win of shopping. Lots of stands and shops and food up the yinyang. Of course the settlers were very smart with all the snow Boston gets all shopping is indoors.

We also walked the Freedom Trail. Its a really neat thing to do, there is a brick pathway in the sidewalk that you follow and it takes you to all of these really historical sites. This one we went to was Paul Revere's house. Here is the bell he rang as he he shouted "The British are coming".
This was the front of his home, O and if you look really close at the street you will see its made out of cabool stones. It was really cool to walk around Boston and see some of the streets made out of the original cabool stone the settlers put there and all the old buildings. So much history about our county in one small area, it was amazing.
Here is a super cute Boston street. I just love how this city looks.
After walking the Freedom trail we decided to go grab a bite to eat, and where else are you going to eat in Boston then CHEERS.

Where Everybody knows your Name :) (O and they really do have good food, there fries were so good).
After eating we decided to hit the New England Aquarium. On our way there i saw this.......
Yep that's a 7-Eleven, I have never seen a 7-11 look so nice. I even felt a little under dressed to go in LOL.
Once at the aquarium we had a fun time, they have penguins there and lots of babies. They were so cute.
They also have this huge tank that runs from floor to about 10 feet from the ceiling of the building and this tank is massive. They have all kinds of fish in here, Sharks, needle fish, eels and even 3 sea turtles. This one here was the biggest. You can even see the divers that where in the tank cleaning it and the turtle was like 3 times this women's body.
Then we hoped the T train and headed across town to the Prudential Center. We went all the way to the top (50th floor) to check out the view.
Here is the city of Boston and part of the Boston harbor

Cute little city blocks, with homes and shopping
and this I found out is the same harbor that that Boston Tea party took place.
On the ground floor was a few restaurants. So we had to stop in the cheesecake factory for some desert before we left.
Here is the T train we took all over Boston.
Day 4 (Thursday) Lazy day
From all the walking we did the pasted 2day we decided to hang out at home. My mom took me to Joanne fabrics and got me my birthday gift. I got the knitting looms a bag and some yarn to make a scarf. It was so much fun learning how to use the loom. That night we went out to dinner with 2 of my moms friends Mary and Harriet. It was Marys birthday and she wanted to go to this little restaurant called Maria's it had really good food.
Day 5 (Friday) Lazy Day /Busy night
This was my last day at my Mom's and the rain had came in. Because of hurricane Kaile it had brought rain and little bit of wind to us. So we decided to do indoor stuff. We headed to this Dinosaur place, that has a big gift shop, and area of natural stones and lots of dinosaur stuff.

This little guy totally reminded me of Juristic park.
Look out he looks hungry.
This is the front of the place with Monty the T-rex. Now how on earth are you supposed to drive by this with out your kids going crazy. O and during xmas they put a santa hat on him and put big presents at his feet. Then for Summer he has sunglasses and a coke in his hand. It was so cool I love it.
That night I got to meet up with some of my step dads family that I just love. His sister-inlaw Melissa and His mom Mrs. C. my Mom, Mike ( how sweet he even took the day off work so he could hang out with me before I left), Moms friend Dawn and one of Dawns friends and I all went out that night to go play Bingo at this really pretty casino called Foxwoods. Let me tell you Bingo is fun and nerve racking at the same time. I had a blast playing and even more fun checking out the die hard bingo players with all there little good luck charms in special spots on the tables. We played like 4 hours of bingo, none of us won but we had so much fun laughing and just hanging out. Needless to say I dreamt of numbers all night.
So it fall time on the East coast and you see some really amazing colors on the trees. I tried to get some pics of the colorful tress so look close and you will see some of it. I love the red some of the tress turn and boy do some of them get bright.

Im so happy to be home I missed my family, but this trip really made me love the east coast even more. It even sparked Mick to want to go back and see more. Thanks again mom and Mike for a wonderful time, I had a blast being with you guys.
